KaChing!, the Shryk online banking platform, is the first system built for kids that allows them to manage their own bank accounts online while providing financial literacy content that teaches them how to manage money. Banks and credit unions from across the country will soon be offering KaChing! to their customers. The system uses an immersion learning concept that helps kids learn about money management by performing transactions and interacting with the system. The system is a world-class application that is full of features that not only make it attractive to young people from the ages of 5 to 24 years-old, it also provides many tools to help financial institutions, parents and kids work together to offer an environment for learning through completing transactions. Our Mission We are building Shryk for two very important reasons. The first is that the lack of financial literacy is becoming a crisis in the United States. The results are evidenced in the statistics you can view on the $Literacy page. It is critical that we provide a tool for parents, schools and financial institutions that can be used effectively to help kids learn the lessons about money they are not getting today. Only by creating a partnership between these parties, and providing kids an attractive online environment, will we make progress.The second reason to provide the KaChing! platform is to give banks and credit unions a product that helps them provide true integrated family banking in a way that is financially rewarding. Retail financial institutions have always had the desire to be family-friendly and to help the community in general with financial literacy, they just have not had the tools to really provide true integrated family banking. We are solving that problem. |
